Lane snapper, Lutjanus synagris. This drawing doesn't show the usual black
blotched found on lane snapper below the origin of the soft dorsal fin and above the
lateral line however the illustration can be of no other fish in the region.

Bluespotted cornetfish, Fistularia tabacaria. This is one of four fish in the cornetfish
family, Fistulariidae. It grows to a maximum length of 6 feet not including the tail
filament. This species is found on both sides of the Atlantic in tropical waters.
