Point Lookout, Australia (1770)
Endeavour River, Australia (17 June - 4 August 1770)

A remarkable feature of these large trees with shady evergreen canopy is that
the showy yellow flowers last for only one day. The species is confined to
coastal areas in New Guinea and tropical north-eastern Queensland, where it is
commonly known as the golden guinea tree
